राधा का हार

एक सुबह राधा को कृष्ण की बहुत याद आ रही थी। तभी राधा की माँ, कीर्तिदा, उससे मिलने आईं और देखा कि राधा के गले का कीमती मोतियों का हार गायब था। यह हार मथुरा में खासतौर पर तैयार कराया गया था, और राधा की लापरवाही पर कीर्तिदा बहुत नाराज़ हो गईं।

राधा को अपनी माँ की डाँट सुननी पड़ी, लेकिन मन ही मन वह खुश थी क्योंकि अब उसे कृष्ण से मिलने का बहाना मिल गया था। राधा ने अपनी माँ से कहा, "मैंने कल गोपियों के साथ यमुनाजी पर जाकर शायद हार खो दिया हो, मैं जाकर उसे ढूंढ लाती हूँ।" यह कहकर वह हार ढूंढने निकल पड़ी।

दूसरी ओर, कृष्ण बेसब्री से राधा का इंतजार कर रहे थे। राधा को देखते ही उनकी खुशी का ठिकाना न रहा। वे दोनों पूरे दिन जंगल में खेलते रहे और शाम हो गई। कृष्ण से मिलकर राधा हार ढूंढना भूल गई।

शाम होते ही राधा ने कृष्ण से विदा ली और घर की ओर चल पड़ी। घर पर कीर्तिदा बेसब्री और चिंता से राधा का इंतजार कर रही थीं, लेकिन राधा के लिए कृष्ण का प्यार सब कुछ था। वह कान्हा से मिलने के लिए सौ हार त्यागने को भी तैयार थी।

राधा और कृष्ण का प्रेम इस बात का प्रतीक है कि सच्चे प्रेम से बड़ा इस दुनिया में कुछ नहीं।

Radha's Necklace

One morning Radha was missing Krishna a lot. Radha's mother, Kirtida, came to meet her and saw that the precious pearl necklace around Radha's neck was missing. The necklace had been specially prepared in Mathura, and Kirtida was very angry at Radha's carelessness.

Radha had to listen to her mother's scolding, but she was happy in her heart because now she had an excuse to meet Krishna. Radha told her mother, "I must have lost the necklace yesterday while going to Yamunaji with the gopis, I will go and find it." Saying this she set out to look for the necklace.

On the other hand, Krishna was impatiently waiting for Radha. His happiness knew no bounds when he saw Radha. They both played in the forest the whole day and it was evening. After meeting Krishna, Radha forgot to look for the necklace.

In the evening Radha took leave from Krishna and left for home. At home Kirtida was impatiently and anxiously waiting for Radha, but Krishna's love for Radha was everything. She was even ready to give up a hundred necklaces to meet Kanha.
